What Ag Assist Is
Ag Assist exists to make rural life easier to navigate. Whether someone is trying to buy and sell rural goods, find work, list a service, hire support, or organise workforce delivery, the platform is built to reduce friction and make those next steps clearer.
What Makes It Different
Ag Assist is not trying to be another generic marketplace or social feed. It is designed for rural people, rural work, and rural transactions, with a strong focus on usability, trust, and practical outcomes.
Rural Marketplace
Buy and sell farm equipment, livestock, supplies, and other rural goods in a marketplace built for the sector.
List anything valuable to the rural community for free, from second-hand tractors and calf feeders to farms, gear, livestock, and wanted ads. It is as easy as taking a picture.
Workforce and Hiring
Connect part-time, seasonal, and full-time jobs with jobseekers, service providers, and workforce support so rural businesses can find the right help faster.
AI That Helps
Use AI to simplify listings, structure information, and make everyday platform tasks easier and quicker to complete.
Services and Quotes
Advertise rural services, request quotes, and make it easier for farmers and contractors to connect around real work that needs doing.
Why People Use It
Ag Assist is positioned for people who want a better rural marketplace than scattered Facebook community groups and a more relevant rural environment than broad public platforms. It is free to use, easier to navigate, and built to support real rural transactions and decisions.
AI supports that by making the platform easier to use, helping people shape better listings, move through workflows faster, and get to the next step with less friction.

Meet the Founder
Tony Dodunski is a proud fourth-generation farmer from Lincoln, Canterbury. Ag Assist has grown from a practical belief that New Zealand farmers and growers deserve better tools to buy, sell, hire, and operate more effectively.
The thinking behind Ag Assist is simple: technology should solve farming problems, not create more friction. That mindset continues to shape the platform, the marketplace, the workforce offering, and the way AI is being applied across the business.
Ag Assist is here to help rural people get things done, with tools that are practical, grounded, and genuinely useful on the ground.
Use Ag Assist
Use Ag Assist to buy and sell rural goods for free, list services, request quotes, post jobs, and connect with people across the New Zealand rural community.
If it is valuable to rural people, there is a place for it here.
Workforce
Ag Assist Workforce extends the platform into planned rural workforce delivery, helping partners organise capable teams for the right kind of field work.
It is part of the broader Ag Assist direction: connecting people, work, and action in ways that are practical, well scoped, and useful on the ground.
