2 Herd managers needed

Description

We are looking for 2 team members to fill gaps in our farming family for next season. This has opened up an awesome opportunity for an experienced farm assistant and a herd manager to make their mark within our small team.

We are looking for someone who is fit, hardworking, honest, great with our girls, has no criminal record and most importantly is reliable.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test. And be able to drive a 2 wheeler motorbike, and manual vehicle, and drive modern tractor and an older tractor.

We milk 500 cows through a 54 bale rotary and have a small runoff block adjacent to us that we use for making supplement and spring grazing.

Our staff enjoy our roster of 5 on 2 off roster from the end of mating until calving, this allows them to make the most of our fantastic location, 6 on 1 off over the busy period.

We are 5 minutes from Colac bay and 15 minutes from Riverton. Great for diving, fishing and hunting. And we have a school bus that runs past the houses for Riverton primary and secondary school too.

We have a 4-bedroom house and a newly built 2-bedroom house available for the successful applicants.
