Dairy Farm Assistant

Description

We are looking for a motivated person to join our team milking 530 cows. This role would suit someone with experience in all aspects of the daily farming operations. This role includes milking and working with stock and a high standard of animal husbandry is expected. Tractor driving with a variety of implements is a large part of this role and the successful applicant will need to be experienced and show a high level of knowledge and awareness in operating machinery. Rotary cowshed with meal feeding, Protrack and ACR. There is flexibility within this role for the start date and roster. The successful applicant must be honest, reliable with the ability to be self-motivated and show initiative. NZ non-residents need not apply; we are not an accredited employer.
