We are looking for a dairy farm worker to help manage daily operations on our farm. This hands-on role involves milking, feeding, and ensuring the welfare of our herd, while supporting environmental compliance and maintaining high operational standards. You will play a key part in ensuring efficient milking processes using modern systems, as well as upholding animal health and safety protocols. Requirements: - Proven experience in dairy farming operations and animal husbandry - Skilled in operating milking machinery, rotary and robotic systems, and farm equipment - Strong commitment to animal welfare and farm safety standards - Ability to work independently and contribute within a team - Adaptable and willing to learn new farming techniques and technologies Responsibilities: - Perform and oversee milking, utilising rotary and robotic systems - Feed and care for cattle, monitoring health and nutrition - Assist with calving and manage calf care - Maintain farm infrastructure, including fences, effluent systems, and irrigation equipment - Operate and maintain farm machinery and tractors - Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental and health & safety standards - Accurately record and report herd data for management purposes Please contact us to discuss this opportunity further.
