Diary Farm Assistant
Description
Dairy Farm Assistant – Mid Canterbury We are seeking a motivated Dairy Farm Assistant to join our well-established 490-cow dairy operation on 135 hectares, located just 10 minutes from Methven and 20 minutes from Ashburton. Our farm is equipped with modern technology including a 40-bale rotary shed, in-shed feeding, automatic cup removers, Protrack drafting, and CowManager wearables for heat detection and animal health monitoring. The farm is irrigated via two centre pivots and a fixed grid system. You will work closely with the Contract Milker and 2IC, assisting with milking, animal health, calf rearing, and pasture and feed management.
