DRIVE IN CALF REARER — EXPERIENCED & RELIABLE East Claxby — Rere Limited We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Calf Rearer to join our team for the 2026 season. This role is ideal for someone who understands the importance of consistency, hygiene, and attention to detail — because quality calves don’t happen by accident. You’ll collaborate with another experienced rearer, sharing responsibilities for feeding, health monitoring, and handling calves to ensure optimal growth and readiness for the next stage. Your Responsibilities You’ll help deliver high quality results by: • Feeding calves accurately and consistently (milk, meal, hay) • Maintaining clean, dry, well bedded pens • Spotting early signs of health issues and acting quickly • Mixing milk correctly and supporting feeding system routines • Cleaning equipment to a high standard • Assisting with weighing, drafting, and growth monitoring • Keeping the shed running smoothly during busy periods • Maintaining accurate animal records What We’re Looking For We want someone who lifts the standard, not someone who needs chasing. You’ll be a great fit if you are: • Reliable — turns up, on time, every time • Experienced with calves or young stock • Consistent in routines and hygiene • Observant with good stock sense • Practical and able to work independently • Calm and positive under pressure • Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors If you’ve reared calves before and know what “good” looks like, you’ll thrive here.
