Farm Manager Opportunity – Free Range Layer Farm An exciting opportunity exists on a small, established free-range layer hen farm with significant growth potential located near Temuka in South Canterbury. We currently operate a 3,000-hen free-range egg operation and hold resource consent to expand to up to 20,000 laying hens. This creates a rare chance for the right person or couple to step into a hands-on management role and help grow the business into its next phase. We are seeking a motivated, practical farm manager with real get-up-and-go to take responsibility for the day-to-day running of the operation. This includes livestock care, farm systems, production oversight, and general farm management. For the right person or couple, there is genuine long-term opportunity, including the potential to invest in the business and share in the rewards of future growth. This role would suit someone who: • Enjoys hands-on farm work and taking ownership of an operation • Is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently • Has an interest in free-range poultry or small-scale farming businesses • Is looking for more than just a job, with a pathway to growth and partnership Remuneration and future investment opportunities will be discussed with suitable candidates.
