Due to late season change in circumstances we have a role open up for Farm Assistant / Herd Manager – 700 Cow Spring Calving Location: Te Rapa/Hamilton (5 minutes from The Base) The Opportunity Are you looking for a role where your hard work is rewarded, your growth is supported, and you’re actually close to the action? What You’ll Be Doing * Daily milking and livestock management for our 700-cow herd. * Assisting with the busy and rewarding spring calving period. * Using on-farm technology to monitor animal health and productivity. * General farm maintenance and ensuring the property remains in top-notch condition. * Contributing to a high-performing, collaborative team culture. Who We’re Looking For * A positive "can-do" attitude—energy and enthusiasm are a must! * Experience in dairy farming (level of responsibility adjusted based on your experience). * A keen eye for detail and a pride in your work. * Someone who thrives in a team environment but can also work independently. * Reliability and a commitment to animal welfare.
