Job Summary: This role involves hands-on responsibilities in dairy farm operations, focusing on the daily milking process, animal health management, and overall farm maintenance. The position demands a proactive approach to ensure efficient dairy production while maintaining high standards of animal welfare and environmental sustainability. Key Responsibilities: - Operate and manage milking routines using modern equipment, including rotary and automatic systems. - Monitor and maintain animal health, including calving, pregnancy detection, and mastitis treatment. - Manage feed systems and pasture to optimize herd nutrition and productivity. - Perform farm maintenance tasks such as fencing, irrigating, and effluent management. - Ensure compliance with environmental and animal welfare standards. - Assist with machinery operation and repair as needed. - Maintain accurate records and support farm planning and reporting.
