Job Summary: The role involves managing day-to-day dairy farm operations to ensure efficient milk production and animal health. You will oversee all aspects of cow care, milking routines, feeding, calving support, and machinery operation in compliance with environmental and health standards. Key Responsibilities: - Perform regular milking and maintain milking equipment to high hygiene standards. - Monitor and care for herd health, including calving assistance and disease prevention. - Manage feeding systems and pasture quality to optimize milk yield. - Operate and maintain farm machinery, including tractors and irrigation systems. - Oversee effluent management and adhere to environmental regulations. - Maintain fencing and farm infrastructure to ensure safety and operational efficiency. - Record and report herd performance and farm activities accurately. About You: - Experienced in dairy farming with strong knowledge of milking procedures and animal husbandry. - Competent with farm machinery operation and maintenance. - Attention to detail with a commitment to environmental and health compliance. - Reliable, hardworking, and able to work independently and as part of a team. - Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with farm management and staff.
