In the heart of Southland, Woodlands area we have a full-time position available. 15 minutes from Invercargill 5 minutes from Woodlands Primary School 5 minutes from Longbush Kindergarten 5 minutes from the local high school buses for Invercargill or Wyndham We are a well-equipped 156HA dairy farm milking peak 480 cows 40 bale external rotary shed ACR in shed feeding cows wintered off farm Must be tractor confident and confident in operating a 2-wheeler and/or 4-wheeler. We are happy to teach you how to mow and spread fertilizer, we use the local balance silo to fill. You will assist with daily operational tasks as directed, which will include but are not limited to: Milking: Assists in efficient and hygienic milking routine Animal Health: Assists with identifying, treating and reporting of stock health issues Nutrition: Assists with feeding, handling and moving stock Milk Harvesting - Twice a day until end of May. Could potentially suit a couple as there could be casual work available for partner. We are NOT accredited, so must be a current NZ Resident Please attach last 2x current working references.
