Head Calf Rearer – 850 Cow Dairy Farm | Rongotea / Sanson
Description
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Calf Rearer to join our team on an 850-cow dairy farm in the Rongotea / Sanson area for the upcoming calving season in a fixed-term seasonal role. Start mid July, finishing late October / early November. You will be responsible for the day-to-day care and management of calves from birth through to weaning. Approx. 600 calves kept. Working as part of a team with a combination of feeding in pens and on suckers in paddocks. Previous calf rearing experience preferred. Good animal handling skills and a positive attitude necessary. Competitive pay based on experience. Hourly rate, hours per week vary, aprox 8am - 5pm Please email tennantfarmsltd@gmail.com with information about yourself and previous experience if interested.
