Do you want to join The Gofer Team?? We are looking for individuals that love working in Southland’s agricultural sector but are sick of being on the same property all year round. If a change of scenery, new conversation with different people & cultures makes you go “oh yeah” then this role may be perfect for you! We are a supportive team environment providing relief staff to farming businesses across Southland. Our roles take us to multiple farms every week so the ability to be adaptable to new working environments is essential. Training & support is provided. We do not offer on farm housing, but do pay premium hourly rates so you can live where you want , enjoy your own space and keep work and home life completely separate. Your workday will begin the moment you leave your property not the time you arrive at the job and may involve feeding young stock, soil testing, milking cows, drenching or tagging stock, tractor driving or assisting in sheep yards. This role involves driving your own reliable and road worthy vehicle to various farms to deliver a high quality efficient service to our clients. You will be working independently with our clients team members mainly, but at times will be working within a team of “Gofers”. You will be acting as a professional face to represent The Gofer team while networking with other likeminded people. We have regular team meetings, provide you with The Gofer app, ensure you have all PPE and Bio security requirements needed to perform each task and you work alongside business owners and management to create the team feeling while knowing you are appreciated for what you are doing and serve purpose in what you are doing! We have a great pool of awesome clients and want to be able to match highly reliable, respectful and experienced people to them.
