Relief milking for Awanui Agri - Ruapuna
Description
Opportunity to work in a great team relief milking or as a farm assistant in an 80 bale rotary shed with in-shed feeding and automatic cup removers. We have a flexible 5:2 roster and accommodation in a 3 bedroom house if required. Requirements: - Experience with rotary sheds - Physical fitness for regular milking duties - Reliable and able to commit to scheduled shifts Responsibilities: - Carry out afternoon milking on a 80 bale rotary with automated systems - Ensure milking hygiene and milk quality are maintained - Follow on-farm health and safety protocols Other Info: Ruapuna Farm is a 1,400 cow dairy farm on 400ha at Ruapuna (near Mayfield) contract milked by Nick and Tina Giera (Awanui Agriculture). The farm is close to the foothills of Mid Canterbury and has excellent farm infrastructure and housing. The farm is kept very tidy and we have a stable team of staff that take pride in their work.
