Tractor Driver / General Farm Worker Wanted Are you looking for a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same? We’re expanding and are on the lookout for a motivated person to join our team at RaeMac Dairying, helping us manage and run our two properties. About the Role This is a diverse position with plenty of scope to learn and grow. Tasks include (but aren’t limited to): • Tractor driving and operating modern machinery equipped with GPS and autosteer • Using a telehandler for scraping wintering sheds and feeding silage • Assisting with the runoff area, including shifting and weighing dairy and beef stock • Fencing projects and general farm maintenance • Riparian planting and environmental management • General farm and livestock work While regular milking isn’t a key part of this role, previous milking experience would be an advantage. About You You’ll be someone who enjoys both teamwork and working independently. Attention to detail and pride in your work are essential. We’re looking for someone with: • A positive, can-do attitude • Good communication and time management skills • The ability to complete tasks to a high standard • Willingness to learn — on-the-job training is available for quick learners What We Offer • Full-time position (hourly rate based on experience) • Flexible hours may be available for the right person • Supportive, family-run business with a great team culture • No accommodation provided About Us RaeMac Dairying is a family-owned operation farming 430 ha across two properties located 20 minutes apart. We milk 950 cows total and rear 220 dairy and beef calves at Seaward Downs. Our Seaward Downs property winters 500 cows in a barn, while 450 cows are wintered on crops at Mokoreta.
