W.S Hickey & Son Ltd, a private wool merchant based in Omakau, just 20 minutes from Alexandra, is seeking a Wool Handler/Store Person. This role is vital to our wool management operations, ensuring the safe handling, weighing, and transport of wool and dags. You'll help maintain the high standards we’re known for in a supportive rural team environment. Requirements: - Full and current driver’s licence (Heavy Traffic and Forklift licences preferred, or willingness to obtain) - Physically healthy with no conditions affecting safety - Good communication skills - Genuine interest in the wool and agricultural sector - Legal right to work in New Zealand (citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa) Responsibilities: - Accurately handle and weigh wool and dags - Safely transport wool and dags, ensuring no damage occurs - Maintain compliance with health and safety requirements - Carry out additional operational tasks as required to support the team Please contact us to discuss this opportunity further.
