Main responsibility of rearing 150 calves for replacements Involving daily health checks, treating ill calves  Assisting with calving cows  Assisting treatment of lame and mastitis cows  Milking  Setting up electric fencing  Spreading magnesium on paddocks

My second role on my working holiday visa in NZ was on a 600 and 400 cow dairy farm in Waikato on herringbone and rotary parlour. Milking morning and afternoon  Treating cows e.g. mastitis, fly treatment, assisting hoof treatment  Heat detection  Setting up electric fencing  Setting up irrigation in paddocks Weeding Calf management e.g. health checks, vaccinating 

I only worked during this period the months of May- September 2017 and 2018 for this role between university. 10 months total. New Zealand style grass based system 500 kiwi cross cow unit. 50 point rotary parlour. Health checks and management on calves e.g. treating sick calves, vaccination, fly treatment, weighing regularly  Main milker morning and afternoon  Setting up electric fencing Using Agriwebb for grazing management  Scraping out  Feeding out silage 

My most recent dairy role which mainly involved calf rearing and milking. 600 Holstein cow unit on herringbone parlour. Feeding calves  Health checks and treating calves for any illnesses  Record keeping e.g. registering calves, weighing regularly Administering medicines e.g. vaccines, drenching  Dehorning And tagging  Telehandler work e.g. feeding out bales, mucking/scraping out  Setting up electric fencing
