Looking for a Couples Position – Dairy Farm (Available immediately) Selwyn prefered We are a motivated couple in our late 20's seeking a dairy farm position where we can contribute as a reliable, hardworking team. My partner as 5 years’ dairy farming experience as a farm hand and is confident in a wide range of farm operations, including: Sole-charge milkings Riding 2- and 4-wheelers Tractor driving and operating a variety of implements Identifying and treating mastitis and lame cows General animal health, and farm maintenance Operating most equipment behind tractors Lots of general farm jobs including irrigation. He holds a restricted driver licence and is experienced working independently and as part of a team. I am a recent Lincoln University graduate (Diploma in Agriculture) with 3 months’ on-farm experience. While relatively new to the industry, I am: Confident with milking and being around animals while upholding health and safety Comfortable driving a 4-wheeler and side-by-side I have some experience driving a tractor and doing feed out. Worked in a Wintering barn Animal-focused, patient, and attentive to welfare, would love to work with calves. Happy to work under instruction and be left to complete tasks independently A quick learner with a strong work ethic and positive attitude I hold a full driver licence. We also have a 1-year-old son who attends preschool full time in Rolleston so some flexibility with myself would be great (fulltime preschool and lots of family support) We are well organised with childcare and work commitments. Additional information: We do not require accommodation until July (if accommodation was available we would need 3 bedrooms) We have 2 cats who have lived rurally before and are fully house trained with references Both of us have reliable vehicles and are happy to drive in We are flexible, honest, and keen to grow within the dairy industry We would love the opportunity to join a supportive farm where our combined experience, enthusiasm, and reliability are valued.
