Hey there, I'm a 4th generation farmer and have been around sheep and beef all my life. I've got experience with dairy grazing, bull fattening and finishing bulls, steers and lambs. I've worked in Gisborne hard hill country, easy Bay of Plenty country, hard, dry windy Wairarapa, cold and frosty South Canterbury and the cold, hard cropping and break feeding climate of Southland. This gives me a range of experience with all climatic conditions and country terrain. I'm currently a block manager and but want to work for more progressive and connected farm owners. I am looking for a job, preferably north island as a stock manager or even farm manager. I regularly attend Beef and Lamb workshops, would like to study PrimaryITO farm management with owners support and have a good understanding of drench resistance, cropping, pasture management and animal welfare.
