Christchurch-based electrical engineering graduate with hands-on commercial solar installation experience, available to start immediately. Seeking full-time solar installation, electrical assistant or technical project support work in Canterbury. Forklift and materials-handling roles are also considered. Previously worked as an Electrical Assistant with ElectriCAD on a casual contract from April to October 2026. Contributed to the installation of 3,687 panels across the Petdirect (2,038 panels) and Fliways (1,649 panels) projects in Islington. Experience includes panel mounting, AC/DC cable routing and termination, labelling, electrical drawings, cable trays, Unistrut, hand and power tools, quality checks and PV string testing at Petdirect. Coordinated daily activities and progress of a six-person team jointly with the lead Project Manager. Also supported approximately four to five residential electrical installations. Previous experience includes technical project coordination, contractor management, inspections and compliance reviews at CBRE in Chile, supporting a portfolio of approximately 140 commercial properties. Electrical engineering specialisation in Electrical Energy Systems; qualification assessed by NZQA as a bachelor's degree at Level 7. EWRB Electrical Engineer registration application pending; not currently registered and no Limited Certificate held. Hold a full New Zealand Class 1 driver licence, F endorsement, Forklift Operator Certificate and Site Safe Foundation Passport. Practical counterbalance forklift experience, warehouse/container unloading, pallet handling, machine and manual wrapping of irregular loads, and own work tools. Comfortable using AutoCAD, Excel, Power BI and Microsoft Office. Spanish native; English upper-intermediate (B2/B2+). Available for all shifts.
