A solid background in dairy farming, along with hands-on experience and a strong work ethic. I studied dairy farming at Telford Rural Polytechnic, where I gained my Milk Harvest Certificate. After completing my studies, I worked full-time on a dairy farm for three years, carrying out all day-to-day farm duties and building practical experience across the operation. I am currently working as a relief milker on Four Hooves Farm in Cust, milking 350 cows for Mark and Pam. This role requires me to step in confidently, maintain high standards in the shed, and ensure animal care and efficiency are upheld at all times. I am capable of performing all farm duties, including milking, tractor operation, and safely using both two-wheel and four-wheel motorbikes. I can feed out, set up and manage break fences, and carry out general fencing work. I am reliable, practical, and able to work both independently and as part of a team. Growing up on one of New Zealand’s largest sheep farms in the 1990s gave me a strong foundation in farming and a solid work ethic from an early age. I am used to long hours and understand the demands of farm life. I am keen to contribute my skills and experience to your farm and would welcome the opportunity to discuss this role further.
