Hi my name is Flynn, I have recently moved from Auckland to Christchurch to pursue a career in agriculture. I have not come from a direct farming background, but I am currently studying a Diploma in Agriculture at Lincoln University to educate myself on the industry and its requirements. I have a strong passion for the outdoors specifically hunting, and I have limited experience on machinery such as tractors. My career goals are to step into the industry and build experience, working any job necessary to increase my skillset. I am currently enrolled in a Diploma of Agriculture, Lincoln Uni (Feb 2026-end of year). This Diploma educates on necessary industry information and has a practical work element (6-12 weeks) which give students a taste of up to two different farms systems.
