I grew up rural, and working the land was just part of life. I've planted corn, beans, tomatoes, peppers and a range of vegetables from scratch. I know the full process: tilling the soil, forming ridges, planting, and keeping on top of weeding through the season. It wasn't leisure gardening. It was real, physical, outdoor work done in proper farming conditions, and I understood from a young age that if you don't do it right, the crop shows it. Animals have been equally central to my upbringing. Chickens, turkeys, dogs, cats. I raised newborn kittens from just a few days old, feeding them by syringe, keeping them warm, stimulating them manually after every feed because at that age they can't manage it alone. That kind of care is around the clock and I didn't think twice about it. Knowing when an animal isn't thriving, catching it early, staying consistent, that's something I carry from lived experience rather than a textbook. I'm 19, I'm fit, and I'm not afraid of early mornings, physical work, or a demanding roster. I notice when something is off before it becomes a problem, I don't cut corners, and I don't need to be micromanaged to do a good job. I'm based in Hamilton and available for seasonal, permanent and casual agricultural work. I'm a fast learner, I take direction well, and I genuinely want to contribute on a working farm. If you need someone reliable who will show up and give it everything, I'm your person.
